Meu Alelo

Alelo Brasil is a financial company focused on corporate benefits. They made history by being the first in the industry to launch their app, called Meu Alelo (my Alelo), which has more than 10 million downloads and active users.

My Role

I had the chance to be part of their design team for 2 years, where I was involved in creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, as well as participating in user tests to develop new features for the app.

One of the features I have worked on was to implement a Loyalty Card functionality, where the users could see the restaurants and collect the stamps to get rewards.

Design System

Besides the new features we were in charge of implementing, there was a big project in the company which was to build their new Design System.

Since it was a large company with lots of departments, products and also a huge team of designers and developers, they were in need to have a design system more consistent, robust, and organized to be more efficient in the projects and focus on the most important part, the user experiences and needs.So the idea for the future was to spend more time working on the user side and less on the interface itself and development.
